About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

One important doubt.

Hello, I have a two-entry VISA. I have already use the two entries. Currently I am at Shenzhen, and would like to visit HK as I am that close. My flight back to my country (Mexico) is through Shanghai, so... it is safe to leave to Hong Kong, spend a couple of days there, and then fly HK - Shanghai - Mexico and apply for the 144 hour VISA?

Is there any restriction if I just used a VISA for traveling through China?

Thank you

That works just fine. You can exit to HK and then turn around and fly HK - Shanghai - Mexico the same day if you wanted to. Just make sure Shanghai is the only mainland Chinese landing on the way home

Actually, this is not 144 hour visa, but 144 hours visa free travel. Please, just use correct terminology to avoid any possible misunderstandings.
