About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

I'll be flying to Shanghai with a stopover in HK on either side

The flights would look as follows:

London -> HK -> SH -> HK -> London

Would this trip be considered eligible for the free visa?

Thanks in advance!

You need a visa to go HK -> SH -> HK as entry and exit points are the same. This is a trip to China and not a transit.

Sorry if this is a duplicate post since my original is stuck in moderation. Visa is required even if you don't leave the airport in HKG. This is a trip to China and not a transit in SH to a third county. Options is get a visa or change flights so that your entry and exit country are not the same.
