About:Visa on Arrival

Dutch passport coming from Singapore

we have dutch passports but we are currently working in singapore and have been invited to go for a convention in ShenZhen. are we eligible?

Yes, you are definitely eligible and you will be granted your VOA upon arrival at Bao'an airport. It is definitely advisable that you bring the mentioned invitation and that you also have your accommodation booking in hard copy. Having all the mentioned, the procedure will be just a formality.

Of course it doesn't apply to tourist visits only, but also for other legal purposes. By the way, your attendance on the convention is indeed a business tourism called congress tourism. Just book your tickets and apply upon arrival for your VOA and you will see that you will have it in your passports within 10 minutes with maybe two additional questions from immigration official.
