About:Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

Transportation to see Xian terra cotta warriors

Our 10 day tour ends in Shanghai with an option to extend our holiday by 3 days. We would like to travel to see the Terra Cotta warriors and would like a recommendation for a flight (Airport/Airline/Terminal) and 4 or 5 star hotel in the city where the terra Cotta Warriors are on display.

There are a lot of flights from Hongqiao or Pudong Airport to Xi'an Xianyang Airport. You can choose anyone according to your time. Eastern Airlines and Air China are both available. As for the accommodation, most people choose to stay in Xi'an so that they can visit more attractions. From Xi'an to Terracotta Warriors, you can take bus from the main railway station. The Bell Tower Hotel is recommended since it is located at the city center and easy to take metro or buses.
