About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can you confirm that I'll be able to get a 72 hour visa on arrival ?

Hello,

In a few days I'll be flying China southern to Guangzhou from Hanoi, and then from Guangzhou to Melbourne on a new Zealand passport.

A few websites have conflicting information and I just want to get it right before o leave because sitting in the airport for 2 and a half days wouldn't be the best move.

Can you confirm that I'll be able to get a 72 hour visa on arrival ?

And all that I need to take before I board and when I arrive in china is hotel details, a photo ?

Also do I need to check into a police station within 24 hours.

Any help on the matter would.be much appreciated.

Thanks so much.

You are not getting a visa on arrival. You are using 144 hours transit without visa. You can leave the airport. You don’t need a photo. It’s best to have your onward flight ticket and accommodation details printed on paper.

The hotel will handle the police enrollment. You only have to go to station if staying at a private residence or some serviced apartments.
