layover in haikou

Question

Hi we have chosen a layover on our way from Sydney to Taiwan to be able to visit your city briefly. Can you suggest something to do in a short time, as our flight arrives at 5.30am and departs 3pm. Is there a sightseeing tour, street food or something like that? Maybe a tour bus or an old quarter in the city that is worth seeing in our limited time?

It is suggested to visit Qilou Ancient Street where you can taste some street food and appreciate  ancient buildings.
