About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Plz help! New York - Qingdao

Would I be eligible for the 144 hour exemption if my itinerary is:
New York- Hong Kong - Qingdao - Seoul - New York?
And do they have to be connecting flights?

M, you are eligible for the 144 hour exemption. And they do not have to be connecting flights.
