About:10-year China Visa

how do I make an appointment at the New York China embassy when my application is complete ?

If I plan to fly from China to Dubai or Vietnam or another country but not sure when I will leave China, what do I do about the round trip requirement... We have no definitive itinerary when we travel...

At present you don't need an appointment to Chinese Embassy.
If you know someone who is Chinese, then an invitation from him or her, or a travel agency will replace the itinerary proofs. Or you can explain the situation in your visa application form.
