group of students

I am organising a school exchange for a week to Chengdu. I am looking for information about the Visas to send to parents so that the pupils all complete the visa's correctly. Is there such a thing as a group visa, or is it best doing individual visas? We have 15 students, aged 10 to 13 travelling with 3 teachers.
Looking forward to your help and guidance.

A group visa is only issued for a tour group organized by travel agencies. Therefore, you need to apply for individual visas, but one of you can submit all the applications on your behalf. BTW, check whether you can take advantage of the 144h visa free transit in Chengdu so thay you don't need the visa.
