About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

am I eligible I have a separate ticket from Tokyo to Beijing for 2n and return on a separate ticket

I depart from LAX and went to Japan first

Hi again what if my separate ticket flight is from Hiroshima to Beijing with hidden stop in Dalian? Am I still qualified for the 72 hour?

There is no such things as a "hidden" stop. It is a stop. And two stops limits you to 24 hours. You need a visa or different flights.

Hi Fred,
Thank you for the info so I planned to book non stop flight Osaka to Beijing. Would it qualify me now for the 72 hours?
