About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

This flight route will qualify for the 72hr Transit visa, correct?

Hi, i hold a UK passport, I will fly from Bangkok to Guangzhou, then From Guangzhou to London Via Kuala Lumpur ,
Arriving BKK - Guangzhou 07.10 friday 14th june, and exit 17th June 14.35 to KL - London,

Thailand-Guangzhou-Malaysia obviously qualifies. But it's not a transit visa, it's transit without visa.
