About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I am transiting through Guangzhou Baiyun Airport with a Canadian Passport.

I have a 20 hour stay there and the airline has booked a hotel for us. Since it is less than 24 hours, do we need a visa?

No, you don't need a visa. Just apply for a stay permit in the airport.
