About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

travelling from Seoul to Shanghai and the back to the UK

Hi, I am travelling from Seoul to SH and from SH back to London. Will the 144hr rule apply for my travel plans. My initial booking with BA is LDN-Seoul, SHG-LDN?

Of course you are qualified for 144 hours visa free transit because everything that interests Chinese authorities is this portion of your itinerary: Seoul - SH - UK. Just bring your hotel booking and flight tickets in hard copy.
