Invitation Letter Request

I have been to China several times for business purposes, buying goods and importing them to Africa but I have been using travel agents. I am planning my next trip and I intend to do all the processing myself. One of the requirement is to obtain an invitation letter. How do I go about requesting an invitation letter?

Bukku, what is the purpose of your visit to China? If you want to sightsee, you need to apply for a visa through a travel agency. If you are for business, you need to provide an invitation letter by your Chinese partner and verification letter of invitation. The verification letter of invitation should be processed by your Chinese partner at local government.
