About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Am I still applicable to the 72 hour visa?

Hello, I will be arriving in Shanghai from Canada at 0500 on June 9th and I will be leaving at 1800 on June 12th to go to Bangkok after.

In case that you are a Canadian citizen and that your flights do not have any additional landings in mainland China beside Shanghai, you are perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Shanghai. Please, just use exact terminology because it is not a visa that you are looking for, but a transit visa free.
