About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are arriving into Beijing and staying for three days before catching a cruise from Tianjin

Can we stay on the 144 hour visa (we fly in from London with UK Passports) and if so, does this need to be arranged in the UK prior to departure

UK > Beijing > Tianjin > [Not UK or Mainland China] is allowed on 144 hour transit. Tianjin is an approved exit point when arriving in Beijing.
