About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

is it possible for me to apply for a green card myself ?

i have been living and teaching in China for 5 years , going home during the summer and occasionally in spring festival . on a z VISA.
is it possible for me to apply for a green card myself ?
and if i have my own green card , how does that effect me marrying a Chinese man ?

You'd better check with the Exit and Entry Administration. Many smaller places do not even have the concrete set of criteria yet (and hence don't even expect them to even accept your application), but if you are lucky enough to live in one of the bigger cities like Beijing then the EEA will give you instructions. Your ability to marry a Chinese is not affected by what type of visa you hold.
