Climbing Emeishan

Hi, I have a 4-day holiday next week, and was wondering how long would I need to climb to the Golden summit, and come back down? Is it possible to climb the front part of the the mountain (to see the most sights), sleep at the top (any recommendations for hotels, or is there just one?), and come back down the next day? How is the terrain? Is it in any way similar to Taishan (just steps, no wild paths/dirt roads)?
