Climbing the Wall Not Taking Cable Car

Is it possible to climb up the wall without riding the cable car? If so, how long will it take to climb to the top of the wall? Thank you.

Yes, generally speaking, you can climb the Great Wall without riding the cable car. For the time, there are several sections of the Great Wall. Which one do you refer to?

Was thinking of Badaling or Mutianyu section, whether these sections can be climbed without going through cable cars.
