About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK to Beijing and then fly Nepal via ChengDu

Hi, I am flying to Beijing and would like to spend two days before my onward flight to Kathmandu. My flight to Nepal is via Cheng Du, can I use the 72hour visa free for my stay in Beijing?

Since you have 2 landing in China, Beijing and Chengdu you are limited to 24 hour direct transit. Even if you stay inside the airport in Chengdu, you must depart china within 24 hours of scheduled arrival in Beijing.
