Does a Thai need to apply for tourist visa if only transit in Shenzhen to go to Hong Kong

Do I need to apply for a tourist visa if I fly into Shenzhen then leave within 2 days to go to Hong Kong?

Well, two days is too long to use the 24-hour TWOV. So you need to apply for a transit visa.
