About:China Transit Visa
Transit or tourist?
If I have 3 layovers in China on a round trip from Chicago to Phuket, Thailand, do I need to do Tourist Visa?
We have a single, long layover in Shanghai on the way and want to leave the airport and tour Shanghai.
On the return trip we layover in Kunming for 3 hours, 5 minutes. Will not leave the airport. Then we have a 20 hour 30 minute layover in Shanghai. We have to leave the airport to fly out of a different airport.
Can we do 2 entry Transit if we aren't leaving the airport in Kunming or do we need multiple entry Tourist since we are landing 3 times in China?
