Germany - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Germany

Hello together,

in november 2019 we fly from frankfurt (germany) to hong kong and stay there for 4 days.
Then we fly from Hong Kong to Shanghai and stay there also for 4 days.
Afterwards we fly from Shanghai back to frankfurt (germany).

Is this an acceptable route for this 144-hour-visa?
We are not sure after reading the above information.
