About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I'm a Canadian citizen with a 22 layover in China but I have 2 stops in China

I am arriving from Canada to Shanghai Pu Dong airport with a 12 hour and 45 min layover. My next flight departs from Shanghai Hongqiao to Kunming China to arrive in my final destination in Cambodia. My total stay in China would be 21 hours.

Will I be okay or do I need to apply for a visa prior to my departure from Canada?

It is important that you have counted the hours from your first scheduled arrival to China until your last scheduled departure from the country. In case that the result is 21 - 22 hours, you are perfectly eligible for 24 hours visa free travel. Just take your flight tickets in printed form or in case that you want to exit the airport, your accommodation booking also in printed form.
