Travelling to China

Hi, I am Jamaican. I want to visit my friend in China. Will I have to apply for a tourist visa ?Will I have to get an invitation letter from her to come ?

Dear, yes, you need to apply for a tourist visa. If you don't plan to stay at a hotel, you can ask him to write to you an invitation letter so as to replace hotel bookings which will be used for visa application.
