About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 free transit visa sufficient?

I'll fly from Asterdam to Beijing. Will stay these for 5 days and then fly to Phnom Penh. But that flight has a stop over (2.45 hrs) in Shenzhen. I will not leave the airport. Can I still apply for the 144 hrs free transit visa in Beijing or does the stop over in Shenzhen count as a visit to a second city?

Shenzhen landing counts as a second stop and limits to 24 hours total allowed in China

So even a short stay on airside counts as a real stop? Then i'll apply for tourist visa. On my way back I'll fly from Da Nang to HK. Stay there for 5 days and then fly directly home to Amsterdam. That journey can be done with transit free visa, right?

If the wheels touch the tarmac then it counts as a stop. Even if you don’t get off the aircraft. You didn’t mention your nationality, but EU citizens don’t need a visa for up to 90 days in Hong Kong (180 days for British citizens).
