Transit in HK only

Hi guys can you advise if i can get a 144 hour visa, if i take the following flights

London to Beijing (transit in HK airport only as flying Cathay)
then
Beijing to Manila (transit HK airport only as flying Cathay)

i will be flying CX so will transit the same airport but not enter HK, is the 144 visa possible?
