About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Manila to shanghai to jeju vice versa

Good day, me and my wife are philippine passport holder we have a flight to jeju but first we will stop at shanghai. Same day arrival at shanghai and departure to jeju we are qualified to 24 hour visa, we need to apply or directly go to immigration counter? Thank you

es, you are qualified for 24 hours visa free transit and please, keep in mind not to use the phrase "transit visa" because you will travel visa free!

You will apply for 24 hours visa free transit at the relevant counter, if needed, i.e. if you need to collect the luggage, change the terminals, whatever, at the relevant counter. The process is fairly easy and straightforward:

- Fill an Arrival/Departure Card at the border inspection counter
- Get the temporary entry permit stamp or sticker
- Claim the luggage (if needed)
- Go through the customs

Visa free travel is really free, so you don't have to pay anything.
