Where Can I purchase ferry ticket to go from HK Airport to Shenzhen Shekou?

Hi, you can buy it in HK airport at Transfer Area E2. However, DO NOT go through immigration and reclaim your baggage. Passengers who have gone through immigration procedures CANNOT return to the ferry ticketing counter and use the ferry service.

This is something I simply do not understand;

How can you simply go to the ferry without first claiming your luggage? How does your luggage come with you on the ferry if you are not allowed to first claim it. The airport has no way of knowing if you will be taking the ferry or not, therefore they have no way of knowing whether they should send your luggage to baggage claim or to the ferry service. This is a very stupid system. I recommend not taking the ferry from the airport if you want to see your luggage again.

If you don't plan to take ferry, you can go through immigration directly. However, if you plan to take ferry, just complete the transfer procedures at ferry counter and reclaim your luggage after arriving in Shenzhen.

You can arrive at the Ferries to Mainland / Macao Ticketing Counter located at Transfer Area E2 at least 60 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure time for ticketing and transfer procedures. For passengers without checked baggage, 30 minutes would be sufficient.
