About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours visa with the family

Hi Im flying from doha, Qatar to Shangai, almost 144 hrs there and continue to Los Angeles Myself, wife and three children, all US passports, can we get that 144 hours visa on arrival in Pudong airport?

You are perfectly within the legal frames for 144 hours visa free transit. Please, be careful and use the phrase "visa free" and not "visa on arrival". These are totally different things because you will travel visa free. Have all documentation, i.e. plane tickets and accommodations bookings in printed form and keep in mind that your flights should not have any other landing within mainland China.
