About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Can i extend a z visa?

MY z visa has a duration of 000 days with a note that i must apply for the residence permit within 30 days.
unfortunately i'm still waiting on all of the paperwork for the residence permit. i fear i will overstay the 30 days. can i request an extension?

Laurel, as long as you submit the residence permit application before the 30 days are due, it's fine. You don't need to extend the work visa.
