About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours in China

Hello,
We want to fly from Spain to Xiamen (opened lately for 144 hours), stay 2 days, then go by train to Yiwu for 3 days, then fly from hangzhou or Shangai to Vietnam. Is it possible to do that ?

When using the 144-hour visa-free transit facility in Xiamen, the allowed areas to stay is limited to Xiamen City only, including the outskirts. Passengers are not permitted to visit any other cities in mainland China.

If you leave the Xiamen area and stay at a hotel, they'll check your passport at the check-in and will see that you stay illegal in the country.
Don't think about it please, it just brings you a lot of problems.
