About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Stop over from Chongqing to Jakarta

If my flight to jakarta from Chongqing has to change plane in Shenzen (no need to re entry to China) and transfer time about 5 hrs
Is the 72 hr transit free still applicable?

Actually, you are not talking about transit. In case that you are already in Chongqing and just fly one way from Chongqing to Jakarta via Shenzhen, this is not a transit, but one way journey between China and Indonesia. In case that you have your Chinese visa already issued, your layover in Shenzhen will be just a formality and there is no need to apply for anything. I assume that the first flight is a domestic one, and the second is international. In this case, your visa will expire at the moment when you perform border crossing at Shezhen airport to your international flight for Jakarta.
