About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can I get a visa to China before I travel 28/10/19

We are due to travel to Hong Kong on the 28/10/19 leaving on the 07/11/19 for a 5 day stopover in Shenzhen/China can I get a visa prior to my travel? And how much is it to purchase?
Also is it reasonably easy to get to Hong Kong airport from SZ?

If you intend to apply for Shenzhen VOA at Luohu border between Shenzhen and HK, it would be possible for you to get it by paying CNY400 per person or so.
