144 hours visa. Holding Canadian passport

Canada - Tokyo (Stop 4 days) - Hong Kong (Stop 3 days) - Beijing (4 days) - train or bus to Tianjin for cruise to Japan - Beijing (same day of disembarkation of the cruise) - Hong Kong (stop 3 days)- Canada

Do I need visa to China under the above itinerary? Or I could get 144 hours free visa
Does Hong Kong consider third country or part of China?

Thank you
