About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Need Visa? Does it mean I still need a China visa?

Under procedure Point #3, what does it mean by "Remember to tell the officer that one wants to use the 72-hour free transit if he/she already has a valid visa for China."

It means those with valid single or double-entry visas can opt for visa-free transit if they are eligible and want to. Whether you need a visa is determined by your route.

It means if you have a Chinese visa that only allows single or dual entry, to tell the officer that you want to do the free transit. Otherwise one of the entries is used up. This doesn't apply if you don't currently have a visa or if you have a multiple entry visa.
