About:Shanghai Travel

We are flying non stop to Shanghai this October from the UK

Staying overnight in a hotel in Shanghai then boarding a cruise ship that goes to Beijing where we stay 2 nights ( returning to go on board the ship each night) and joining local group shore tours from the ship each day, then cruising to South Korea then Japan and then flying home to UK from Japan. We are both British Citizens.
Can we use the 144 hour visa in this case.

Hi, John, your travel route is UK - Shanghai - Beijing - South Korea - Japan - UK, right? If yes, you are not eligible for the 144 hours visa free policy. You need to apply for the China Visa in advance in your country.
