About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Re-Entry on Single-Entry Student Visa

A friend and I are studying in China and are considering visiting Japan for a weekend. We have already applied for single-entry student xs. Is there any way to still be able to visit Japan for a weekend and come back to China for the remainder of our study?

If you have student X1 type and Chinese residence permit, you can leave mainland China and re-enter after the visiting Japan. No need to apply for another visa.
