About:Guangzhou Metro

Ni Hao, Guangzhou Metro Card

Hi,
we are group of 7 (adults & Kids) - are there any special fare for Kids (up to 11 Years) If I buy a 20 Yuan Metro card - can 1 card be used for all 7 or we need separate card for everyone?

First of all, one card can only be used by one person. You need to buy separate card.
As I know, there is no special transportation card for child. According to the ticketing policy, chilren under 1.2 meters can enjoy the free ticket. Children between 1.2 and 1.5 meters can enjoy the discount. Children above 1.5 meters need to purchase the full priced ticket.
