About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Whether take tourist visa or S2.

Hi me my mother and my father we three are going to china to attend convocation ceremony of my sister as she is studying in china. Can you please tell us which visa we should apply for and what all documents will be required.

You can try to apply for L type, and you need to provide passport, passport-style photo, completed application form, an invitation letter from your sister.

What about the stay. Do I need to provide hotel booking details or my sister's invitation letter is enough?

If you have an invitation letter, you don't have to provide the round trip air tickets and hotel reservation, I suppose.
