About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

Visa to work in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China

What type of visa(s) will be needed if a Ghanaian passport holder need to travel to Hong Kong for music performance for one week and then to mainland China for around 6 months?

You can apply for visit L type for the trip to mainland China.

Dear Taylor,
Thank you for reply, but there may be some misunderstanding. I mean the Ghanaian performers will stay in China for 6 months for music performance. I think they will need to apply for Z (working)? I think they are not supposed to work with L.

If you will get paid, maybe you need the work Z type instead of a tourist L type.
