About:Chengdu Long-Distance Bus

how do I get either a train or bus from Chengdu to Jiuquan?

There are only two normal speed trains departing from the Main Railway Station. The departure time is 15:55 and 20:12. It takes more than 20 hours and the ticket price for a second sleeper is CNY322.5.

thank you ... how does one get to the Great Wall from Jiuquan..either Jiayguan Pass or Dunhuang?...and is there better sections of the Wall better than these two to visit in Gansu?

From Jiuquan to Jiayuguan Pass, the distance is not far. You are suggested to take a taxi to there directly.
From Jiuquan to Dunhuang, it is advised to take train directly. The duration is 5-6 hours.

There is no direct public transportation. You are suggested to go to Lanzhou first. Then transfer to a train to Nanjing or Shanghai.

There is no direct flight and you need to transit in Xi'an or Xining. Two normal speed trains depart from 15:55 and 20:12. However, the duration is more than 30 hours and it is not very recommended.
