About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi. I am Italian living in beirut. If I have a ticket Beirut-Istanbul-Taipei-Shanghai-Istanbul-Beiru

Hi. I am Italian living in Beirut. If I have a ticket Beirut-Istanbul-Taipei-Shanghai-Istanbul-Beirut and a separate ticket Taipei-Shanghai and need to stay in Shanghai for 27 hours, can I use the 72 hour visa? Thanks

Your route isn't clear. But if you fly Taipei-Shanghai-Taipei then you need a Chinese visa.

Thanks. I fly Istanbul-Taipei then Taipei-Shanghai and then Shanghai-Istanbul

That route is fine for 144 hours but only if your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries.
