About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

U.K. Citizens flying to Shanghai with 3 nights hotel stay then 8 day cruise & 1 night stay SH

U.K. Citizens flying to SH in August. We stay 3 nights in hotel in SH before transferring to port for 8 day cruise to Japan. The cruise disembarks in SH where we will stay 1 night in a hotel before transferring to the airport for flight back to the uk. Will the 144 hour visa cover the days prior & after the cruise?

No visa needed as long as your flights between the UK and Shanghai do not stop elsewhere in China. You can do 144 hour transit to Japan and a second 144 hours on the way home from Japan
