Yes, they are both in the mainland. It is possible to visit both. You will need a visa if you have a German passport.

Hey, it´s me again.

Is it possible to go from Manila to Peking with a transit stopover in Shanghai and only applying a free 144 h twov in Peking?
Like: Manila - Shanghai (only transit) - Peking (144 h free transit) - Manila?

You must be in transit to a third country anyway. You need a visa if you’re returning to the Philippines.
