Am I eligible for the 24-hour transit without Visa?
I am flying through China for a roundtrip flight. I have a US Passport. My flight is from USA, with a layover for approximately 2.5 hours at SHANGHAI PUDONG APT T1. After the 2.5 hour layover, I am flying directly to the destination country: Philippines. My returning flight is similar: Philippines > Shanghai (3 hr layover) >USA. I intend on staying in the airport terminal during the layover.
I'm reading many different things and am not sure, but my main question is: am I eligible for the 24-Hour twov? If I do not need to get a visa for my layovers, that would be great.
