Onward tickets

This post mentions onward tickets with seat, the thumbnail image is of a boarding pass. Most of the time, you cannot get the boarding pass until the day of the flight? So, would a print out of a confirmed e-ticket (with seat) suffice?

A print-out of the confirmed ticket is sufficient. You don't need a boarding pass or even allocated seats. The "confirmed seat" thing is there to show that flying standby is not allowed.
