About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

Flying to Shanghai for 8 day cruise to Japan

I am flying from the UK to Shanghai for an 8 day cruise to Japan. I will be in Shanghai for 31 hours before the cruise and 29 hours after the cruise before I fly home to the UK. Total of 60 hours in Shanghai. Will I need a visa? Many thanks!

You can do the 144 transit without visa. Just make sure sure the flights to and from Shanghai do not land in another Chinese city or limit is 24 hours for each transit
