About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

We are taking the following route. UK - MADRID - SHANGHAI

2 night stay in NANJING & 3 nights in the city then fly to UK

Would this trip qualify for 144 hours visa free ?

It qualify for the 144 visa free transit waiver as long as SH> UK doesn't also land in Spain. Nanjing, Jiangsu province is an area allowed to stay on a SH transit
