About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

2 stops in Shanghai (Manila to Dubai)

Hi, I would like to know if I'm required to apply a transit visa. I'm a Philippine passport holder and departing from Manila and arriving to Pudong, Terminal 1.

Then I need to proceed to Hongqiao, Terminal 2 for my next flight. My next flight is arriving to Kunming Airport.

I need to layover in Kunming airport for 16 hours. My flight will deport from Kunming going to Dubai.

So my worries is the changing of airports between Pudong and Hongqiao. How can I reach to Hongqiao? Do i need any visa for that?

PS: I am not planning to go outside of the airports during my layovers. I rather wait inside the airports. :)

hello,, you don't need a visa when travelling between these two airports. you can reach hongqiao airport by using the subway metro which is inside pudong airport too..just follow the sign..you wont get lost because pudong also is so convenient to use as they are using English for signs too. you have to to surf the metro map so it will be easier for you..travel to hongqiao takes 1 hr by metro..will cost 4 to 8 rmb only.you can try to read the travel china guide website for better understanding..you can also reach it by bus which is inside the airport too..
